Dr. Montana Khoo – Dentist
Montana is a cheerful and approachable dentist and is passionate about all aspects of general dentistry and is dedicated to providing a high quality of care for all her patients. Montana was born in Brisbane and has always been part of the westside community, living and attending school in the area.
She attained a Bachelor of Dental Science at the University of Queensland and has previously practiced in Townsville, Redbank and Indooroopilly where she gained experience treating a wide range of both emergency and comprehensive care patients. Montana continues to remain updated with developments in dentistry is a regular attendee of professional education courses.
She is an avid believer of preventive dentistry and is eager to introduce new patients to calm and comfortable dentistry. Outside of dentistry, Montana is an ardent traveler and certified group fitness instructor – a contradiction to her love of baking and keen sweet tooth!
Dr. Sang Ho – Dentist
Dr Sang is a caring and gentle natured dentist who enjoys introducing all patients to relaxed, quality and meticulous dentistry. He enjoys listening and attending to patients’ concerns and then coming up with a solution together. Sang revels is the fact that his patients leave happy and makes it an aim to have all patients confident and hopefully even happy to return for any dental work.
Sang loves being able to show kids that the dentist is nothing to be worried about. Being able to get them smiling and even giving a hi-5 by the end of the appointment means that we’ve done that! Sang also does braces, and not only gets satisfaction from producing a lovely straight smile, but also being able to connect with teenagers who are often shy when they first meet but talking freely by the time they’re done.
Sang grew up in Melbourne and graduated from the University of Queensland. He’s a west side local – living in Taringa and enjoys anything automotive – watching the formula 1 or driving an open road. He is also a lover of dad jokes so you might hear a few groans from the staff when he works his magic!
Dr. Andrew Ong – Dentist
Born in Sydney but raised in Brisbane, Dr. Andrew Ong has completed all his education in Brisbane. Andrew graduated from the University of Queensland with Honours and has continued to upkeep a high standard of dentistry through continuing professional education.
Believing in the importance of a confident smile, Andrew is comfortable with all areas of general dentistry and aims for excellence at every dental appointment.
Outside of dentistry Andrew tries to maintain a balanced lifestyle. Always striving for the best in work and in play Andrew enjoys swimming, exercise and technology – recently finding the ins and outs of drones!
Charli – Assistant and Reception
Charlis dental journey initially began in 2006 at Mt Ommaney but shortly relocated to Indooroopilly where she made a home for herself for 8 years.
During this time she developed a love of all aspects of dentistry with a particular interest in preventative and cosmetic procedures.
Charli has a passion for developing relationships and enjoys being a part of boosting somebodys self confidence by helping them reach their treatment goals. Creating a happy and positive environment for children is very important to her as she believes early dentist interactions are vital in maintaining good oral health as they grow into adulthood.
Kenmore has always held a special place in Charlis heart as she was a member of the very first womens full kit gridiron team at Akuna Oval in 2012 and fondly remembers the community spirit and support so is very excited to be a part of the local community again.
Outside of dental Charli loves spending time with her childhood sweetheart now husband and their 3 year old daughter. Camping, kayaking and supporting their football team are a few of their favourite things to do.
Ashlee – Assistant
Ashlee has been dental assisting for over 5 years with experience in orthodontics, paediatric, general and cosmetic dentistry. She loves seeing the transformations with patients not only with their dentition, but the relationship they build with the practice. Ash believes that understanding your dentist and dental nurse is extremely important with helping build that rapport and trust between patient and practitioner. That is why she will always greet you with a smile and help wherever she can.
Having had orthodontics, general and cosmetic dentistry performed on her in the past, Ash is very understanding with patients and is able to talk them through procedures from personal experience. She explains “The great thing about working in dentistry is that every day is different. And no matter what the practice is faced with, our team have the ability to stay positive and friendly while achieving what is best for our patients”. Ash has had extensive experience helping patients with anxieties and nervousness related to dental procedures and treatment. So whether it’s your first visit to the dentist or your regular check-up, you will be reassured your happiness and comfort is our priority.
When she isn’t at work, Ash loves to create and bake a variety of different foods at home as a hobby (and also to get her sweet tooth fix). She is also enjoys seeing transformations outside of work, and is currently renovating the house she grew up in with the help of her family. If there’s one thing she can’t do, it’s deciding what her favourite flavour of ice cream is.
